Photos of Dan & Daisy Martin
Dan and Daisy Martin, moved to Sinton in 1912 and bought the San Patricio County News newspaper. Dan's brothers, Walter and Preston Martin also worked on the newspapers for years. A profile of the Dan W. Martin family is on pages 502-503 in the History of San Patricio County by Keith Guthrie. Dan died in Sinton in 1948 and Daisy died in Corpus Christi in 1968. Both are buried in the Sinton Cemetery.
