San Patricio, San Patricio County, Texas

Some wonderful San Patricio residents provided me with a transcription that was done locally, but I don’t know how old it is. These names have been included. Some of the names were gathered during their walkthrough of the cemetery, and those are noted as “no existing headstone, older transcription,” as the headstones are no longer there. Other information for their transcription was based on records of deaths from the probate court of San Patricio Co, the St Patrick’s Church register, and records of interment of St. Patrick’s (Old Cemetery) at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, TX. Those are noted accordingly. Some of these residents may actually be buried at St Patrick’s Cemetery in San Patricio. Once I complete that transcription, I will compare the information & update accordingly. My original transcription was accomplished by photographing the existing headstones. There are many unmarked graves.

My headstone transcription, along with photos, is located at Find A Grave
